Our second trainingcamp in 2019 took place at Skydive Sebastian, Florida. Located at the beautiful coastline between Miami and Jacksonville Sebastian, with it’s two Twin Otters and one Super-Caravan is one oft the biggest and surely best operating dropzones around this area. Thanks to the highly motivated and supportive staff we easily managed 10 jumps a day unless the weather didn’t destroy our plans. To keep it short, Sebastian is amazing! Thanks for having us guys.
Additionally that we had two things to celebrate on our arrival day in the US: our teammate Marco Fürst´s 28th (almost 30th) birthday and the arrival of our brand new Aurora rigs for wingsuiting by Sun Path. The first few jumps with them put some huge smiles on our faces since they worked exactly as we were hoping for. The fitting and design are just as they are supposed to be, the biggest difference though between a normal skydiving rig and an Aurora is its supportive design for flying and its opening procedure designed especially for wingsuiting.
Luckily we had enough time to jump it a lot 😀
Otherwise we spent our days training all thr different disciplines and preparing for our summer season in Europe. One memorable jump was joining the current Freefly World Champions from France Team „AirWax“ and the living legend in skydiving productions Norman Kent for a photoshooting. It’s always a pleasure to meeting new and old friends in our community to share our passion.
RBST will be back!!!
