Canopy relative work is one of the more difficult maneuvers as you constantly have to keep in mind several planes, the distance to the right, left and beneath and flight speed in regard to the other jumper. Before docking, the two canopies have to glide in an exact parallel movement, waiting for the perfect moment to dock. The jumpers then reach for the right ropes before hooking up, thus avoiding potential collisions. Eventually, the overhead jumper slides down the ropes of the jumper below him until reaching his shoulders and puts his feet in the other person?s risers until both have almost reached the ground.
